Keckley wafer body double disc check valves offer an inexpensive way to properly protect your pipeline against flow reversal. Keckley cast iron wafer body double disc check valves have pin retainer holes in the body where plugs are inserted to hold the hinge pin and stop pin in place. Keckley offers a retainer less wafer body design in bronze, carbon steel, stainless steel and other specially cast alloys.

Type
Double Disc Retainerless
- The Keckley wafer double disc check valves are constructed from rugged castings that are machined to exacting specification
- A short face-to-face dimension
- Lighter weight, by 80 to 90 percent than non-conventional full-body check valves
- Spring-loaded, double disc design has a low cracking pressure
- The tension spring performs a lifting motion on the disc to prevent excessive wear on the "heel" area of the elastomer seat
- The independent, dual shaft design allows interchangeability of shaft
- The stop shaft stabilizes the disc during high flow rates
- Field serviceable without the need for special tool
- 6-1/16 in minimum companion flange bore
- Cast 304 stainless steel disc, 316 stainless steel spring, 304 stainless steel stop pin/hinge pin, carbon steel plug
- -20 to 250 deg F seat operating temperature
- 500 deg F spring maximum operating temperature
- 720 Cv flow coefficient
- 200 psi at 150 deg F
- The Keckley wafer double disc check valves are used in both vertical and horizontal application
- For horizontal flow application the shaft should be vertically oriented and contact keckley for downward vertical flow installation
- PTFE thrust washer
